what I (didn't) wore

אין לי מה ללבוש. זה נשמע כמו קלישאה מוכרת של בנות, החברות שלי גם יעידו שזה משפט שחוזר על עצמו עד כדי שהתחלתי לשיר אותו. (ע"ע אוי מה אלבש / בנות פסיה מהמחזמר סינדרלה בכיכובה של מיכל ינאי משלהי שנות ה-90)

אין לי שום דבר חדש, או אפילו ישן חדש מסבתא, בארון כבר חודשים. אולי בגלל זה אני לא מפרסמת פוסטים חדשים? דיאטת קניות שמגיעה מניסיון לחסוך בכסף במהלך הסמסטר היא קשה. גם את הכסף המעט שהצלחתי להרוויח בעבודות שונות או עם מכירת האיזיפארק התעקשתי להוציא על חומרים שונים, בעלי מקצוע ו"הפינוק" האחרון- עדשה חדשה למצלמה, "כדי שהבלוג יראה יותר מקצועי", חשבתי. כבר מעל שבוע שיש לי אותה אבל לא יצאתי לצלם. דווקא היה לי קצת זמן. באמת לא מצאתי מה ללבוש. פתאום הרגשתי שאין לי מה לחדש. בכלל. וכמה אפשר לכתוב על הפרויקטים של הלימודים? או על קרמים ולקים חדשים? אז לא כתבתי.

לקחתי את עצמי לטייל בתל אביב. בנווה צדק, בתחנה, ביפו, ואפילו בעזריאלי  השנוא עליי יצא לי להיות - כלום. גם באסוס ובאתר של אורבן אאוטפיטרז שתמיד עושים לי פרפרים בבטן ביקרתי. כמעט אנסתי את עצמי לשים פריטים בסל ואז הבנתי שגם משם אני לא רוצה כלום. ברגע של משבר בין ההגשות לקחתי את עצמי לקניון חולון היוקרתי והתחדשתי בשני קרדיגנים חלקים וחביבים במחיר מצחיק אצל הוניגמן. הבוקר נסענו לאכול חומוס בפלורנטין וניסיתי להרכיב אאוטפיט חדש מפריטים שכבר שכחתם שיש לי, כי חדשים אין. בשבוע הבא אני טסה שוב לפריז לעבוד בעוד יריד, שם יהיו לי בערך יום וחצי פנויים. הפעם אני לא מתכוונת לבזבז את זמני היקר על מוזיאונים - אני רוצה קניות! שתהיה שבת שלום ולהת' בקרוב.

I have nothing to wear. I know it's a well worn cliche but it's the truth. I havn't bought anything new in months and that's maybe why I went MIA on the blog. I was sick of writing about school or about nail polish and I could'nt tell anything new about outfits. So I didn't write at all. Last week I felt a realy big urge to spend and ended up buying two cardigans at Honigman, basic but cute. Next week I'm in Paris again for work. I hope to fill this growing urge of shopping and get back on the posting horse. Have a great weekend!

A perfect weather

כשראיתי לראשונה את מערכת השעות לסמסטר הקרוב, כמעט פרצתי בבכי. מניסיון העבר גיליתי שמאוד קשה לתפקד ולתמרן בין שני חלקי הקורס המרכזי (בראשון וברביעי) ללא יום חופש כדי להכין את המטלה. אבוי, בסמסטר הזה הימים מלאים ואת המטלה מראשון לרביעי אני כנראה אעשה בלילות, אך עם זאת ברביעי ב-13:00 הסופ"ש מתחיל וזה מנחם.

השבוע, היות והמטלה לא דרשה יותר מדי, שמתי לב שהשבוע מסתיים יחסית מהר ואני אפילו לא יותר מדי מותשת. החלטתי לנצל את ההזדמנות שעדיין לא מתעללים בנו ועשיתי מאמץ לסיים את מטלת הקומקומים מוקדם כדי להשאיר את השבת פנוי. כשהרגשתי שאני "רואה קומקומים" בשישי אחר הצהריים, עשינו הפסקה. לקחתי את הבחור לשוק הפשפשים ללאנץ' מאוחר וטיול בסמטאות והרגשתי קצת שעדיין חופש. 

מזג האויר המושלם שאנחנו חווים בימים האחרונים התאים בדיוק לחניכת החצאית החדשה שלי מהוניגמן. אני עדיין קצת מסתבכת בשילוב החלק העליון. אני מאמינה שיהיה לי יותר קל בחורף כי עכשיו אני עדיין מרגישה שחולצה אחת לא נכונה ואני "דוסשיק". בעצם גם פה זה כבר גבולי אבל זה הסתדר לי טוב. השבוע מתקיימים שני אירועי אופנה מעניינים אז שימו לב שאתן לא מפספסות אותם כשאתן מגלגלות למטה לסוף הכתבה.

*גילוי נאות: במסגרת סיקור הקולקצייה החדשה של הוניגמן, קיבלתי גיפט קארד שהספיק לחצאית הנפלאה הזו ולזוג גרבונים שיופיעו פה בקרוב, אם ירצה החורף.

My time table turned out to be heavy from Sunday to Thursday, but hey - on Wednesday the weekend begins so it's ok. I used the spare time of this long weekend for a romantic late lunch on Friday afternoon in Jaffa. The weather lately is perfect for my new skirt c/o Honigman. Honigman winter 2013 - Guest post

you might know me from my blog - thezigzaggirl 

this week, maya and i were invited

to the w\a 2013 collection presentation

of honigman - one of israel's oldest fashion brands

(amongst a group of fellow bloggers)

pretty maya showig off her purple streak

after the israeli fashion blogosphere

was shaken in the past week

maya and i decided to do something a little differently

with these posts

in order to make things even more interesting

so...

i have to admit

i used to think honigman was an old fashioned,

and just plain old fashion brand.

but as it turns out, the brand is undergoing a makeover

and they are younger and more relevant then ever

the collection is trendy in the good way;

you won't find too many studs on any item,

but you will find items that were inspired by this season's trends,

such as the oxblood or bottle green shades,

and regardless - their items are classy enough

so that they will serve you for more than just this winter

the fabrics are softer and of a higher quality then they used to have

which is a nice change - especially considering the fact

that the brand has lowered it's prices

the men's collection was a bit smaller

(at least, the number of items presented to us, was)

but it was obvious that a lot of thought was put into it

the items are all classy

and i think it's safe to say, most of my male friends

and my fashionable brother and french stepfather

would enjoy wearing most of the items from the presentation.

a lot of emphasis was put into the smaller details

such as the hems, the lining and the materials;

softer fabrics, printed linings, and more features

that would make any girl happy to know her guy's wearing :)

after the presentation, maya and i just had

to go and check out what items arrived to the stores

and make some purchases :)

(full disclosure - we got giftcards at the presentation)

we were happy to discover about 70% of the collection

was just waiting for us to try it on

(the heavier items - such as the thicker coats, will arrive in a few weeks)

this might be a good opportunity to say

that ever since i remember

- and this visit wasn't an exception to the rule - 

the honigman sales girl are always very sweet

and very helpful

we visited the holon mall branch

and the girls were very efficient and sweet to us!

i chose a few items i thought maya would enjoy

incorporating into her wardrobe:

a very soft, pearly-gold knit and a collarless faux-leather jacket to make maya shine,

a maxi chiffon skirt that i would have picked for both maya and myself,

but ended up going home with maya and maya only,

and a printed blouse & oxblood cardigan combo, which i know maya would wear

all through the upcoming months

ברגעי משבר בעבודה, בהם המזגן לא מספיק מקפיא אותי והזמן לא עובר (כמו עכשיו), אני נשענת לאחור על הכיסא המשרדי שלי ומפנטזת על הנסיעה שלי לפריז ואמסטרדם בתחילת ספטמבר. אני חולמת שבמהלך 13 יום אגדיים אלו, אזכה ללבוש את בגדי המעבר שאליהם כה ערגתי בחודש האחרון. זה הרי ידוע שאני משונאי הקיץ, אבל איכשהו בקיצים הקודמים הצלחתי לחמוק מהצירוף השטני "יולי-אוגוסט" ומצאתי את עצמי במקום אחר בעולם. השנה, לא היתה לי ברירה אלא להעביר את העונה הבלתי נסבלת הזו בין המזגן בדירה, למזגן באוטו, למזגן בעבודה. שגרה מיוזעת ומייאשת משהו.

אני חולמת על 20 מעלות צלזיוס. מדמיינת את עצמי מסתובבת בהנאה ברחובות ימים שלמים בלי לברוח לחנויות ממוזגות. אני מדמיינת את עצמי בתמונות בדיעבד: כאן אני והקרדיגן למרגלות האייפל, כאן אני והגרביונים אוכלים צ'יפס עם מיונז, וכאן אני והמטפחת (קשורה על הצוואר ולא על הראש כמגן זיעה) שותים בירה באחד הערבים הקרירים של אירופה.

השעמום דחק בי ליצור לוח השראה סתווי עם כמה פריטי חובה לעונת המעבר, עם הצבעים הבולטים לעונה: אדומים חמים וירוקים כהים.

In September I'm off to Paris and Amsterdam. I can't take the Summer heat no more. I'm dreaming of a 20 degrees climat, wearing my favorite automn stuff and walking down the streets without feeling sticky. I collected some must have items in the season's must have colors: Burgondy and dark greens. What do you think?

ואם בצבעי סתיו עסקינן, בהוניגמן תפסו את הצבעים והטרנדים של הסתיו הקרוב במדויק, תמיד נעים לגלות שהחברות המקומיות מצליחות לדייק בבחירות הצבעוניות ובגזרות המחמיאות וע"י כך לתת פייט לרשתות הבינלאומיות במאבק על ליבם וארנקם של הקהל הישראלי.
לצילומי הקטלוג של סתיו חורף 2012-2013 נבחרה הדוגמנית היפהפייה יבה דון. לצערי לא הצלחתי להגיע לצילומים אבל בכל זאת אוכל לספק לכם הצצה קטנה לקטלוג שיצא בהמשך. אני לא יודעת מתי הוא יגיע הסתיו הזה, אבל הוא מביא איתו הרבה הצלחות. יום שישי בפתח - סופשבוע נעים!

Here's a sneek peek to the Automn-Winter 2012-2013  Honigman catalog shoot. The beautiful onternational model Yaba Don was chosen to be the presentor. I love how they nailed the colors of the season and gathered all the correct trends in flattering cuts.
