כשראיתי לראשונה את מערכת השעות לסמסטר הקרוב, כמעט פרצתי בבכי. מניסיון העבר גיליתי שמאוד קשה לתפקד ולתמרן בין שני חלקי הקורס המרכזי (בראשון וברביעי) ללא יום חופש כדי להכין את המטלה. אבוי, בסמסטר הזה הימים מלאים ואת המטלה מראשון לרביעי אני כנראה אעשה בלילות, אך עם זאת ברביעי ב-13:00 הסופ"ש מתחיל וזה מנחם.

השבוע, היות והמטלה לא דרשה יותר מדי, שמתי לב שהשבוע מסתיים יחסית מהר ואני אפילו לא יותר מדי מותשת. החלטתי לנצל את ההזדמנות שעדיין לא מתעללים בנו ועשיתי מאמץ לסיים את מטלת הקומקומים מוקדם כדי להשאיר את השבת פנוי. כשהרגשתי שאני "רואה קומקומים" בשישי אחר הצהריים, עשינו הפסקה. לקחתי את הבחור לשוק הפשפשים ללאנץ' מאוחר וטיול בסמטאות והרגשתי קצת שעדיין חופש. 

מזג האויר המושלם שאנחנו חווים בימים האחרונים התאים בדיוק לחניכת החצאית החדשה שלי מהוניגמן. אני עדיין קצת מסתבכת בשילוב החלק העליון. אני מאמינה שיהיה לי יותר קל בחורף כי עכשיו אני עדיין מרגישה שחולצה אחת לא נכונה ואני "דוסשיק". בעצם גם פה זה כבר גבולי אבל זה הסתדר לי טוב. השבוע מתקיימים שני אירועי אופנה מעניינים אז שימו לב שאתן לא מפספסות אותם כשאתן מגלגלות למטה לסוף הכתבה.

*גילוי נאות: במסגרת סיקור הקולקצייה החדשה של הוניגמן, קיבלתי גיפט קארד שהספיק לחצאית הנפלאה הזו ולזוג גרבונים שיופיעו פה בקרוב, אם ירצה החורף.

My time table turned out to be heavy from Sunday to Thursday, but hey - on Wednesday the weekend begins so it's ok. I used the spare time of this long weekend for a romantic late lunch on Friday afternoon in Jaffa. The weather lately is perfect for my new skirt c/o Honigman. Second year, first week

השבוע הראשון ללימודים בעיצומו ואני מנצלת את העובדה שהמוח שלי כבר דמיין את כל הקומקומים שבעולם, כדי לעשות הפוגה קלה ולחזור לחיים האלטרנטיביים הנפלאים שלי - הבלוג!
השנה אין רחמים ואין סובלנות, יש לי כבר הר של מטלות ולא חסכו מאיתנו שיחות מוטיבציה והפחדה. צפויים לנו גם הרבה פרויקטים מרתקים וקורסים נפלאים, כך שלא הכל נורא ואני די שמחה לחזור למסגרת של יצירה, גם אם זה כתוצאה מסוג של טרור.
הצטברו לי כמה דברים מעניינים לספר לכם עליהם החל משבוע האופנה חולון, חידושים והפתעות מקומיות ועד לחוויותי מאינדינגב שחלו בשבוע שעבר, פוסט מצולם מלא בדברים חדשים - ממש עוד מעט.

So I'm back to school, and we don't have much time to start our engines as the works start to pile up on my desk. I am now working on a new project related to teapots, but I decided to take a break and check out my alternate world - the blog. Before school started I went to some cool events and I feel like I need to share a few things before I head back to planning a photoshoot this weekend. 

First of all, as promised last post, I was introduces to the Incoco nail art stickers and I loved it. I was shocked to find out the people who import it to Israel are my "mentors" from the times I spent in Manchester in sales a few years back. I got the full treatment and I can say I was sold: its realy easy, stays on and most important - there are a zillion options - Paradise!

נתחיל מסיפור, לראשונה אני חושפת בין דפי הבלוג חלקים קצת יותר אפלים בחיי הבלוגרית, אני כותבת את הכל בגלוי כי זו לא הפואנטה. באחד משיטוטי בבלוגים עוד לפני כמה חודשים נתקלתי בתופעה המרתקת של מדבקות הציפורניים של חברת INCOCO ומיד רציתי לגלות יותר. כבלוגרית סקרנית וחסרת בושה פניתי אל נציג החברה וביקשתי להתנסות במוצר. ללא הפתעה נעניתי בשלילה, שהרי אני לא בלוגרית טיפוח שמסקרת חדשות לבקרים מוצרי קוסמטיקה. המשכתי בחיי. לאחרונה ניצתה בי הסקרנות שוב ופניתי שוב, אבוי לחוצפה. הפעם נעניתי בחיוב והציעו לי לבחור צבע מהקטלוג כדי לקבל דוגמא וכמובן לכתוב את התרשמותי הכנה. באחת ההתכתבויות גיליתי לתדהמתי שהנציג החביב, אך ממולח, הוא לא אחר מאשר "המנטור" שלי ושל הבויפרנד מהימים שבהם גרנו במנצ'סטר ומכרנו בעגלות את נשמותינו לכל המרבה במחיר. אלון ואשתו המדהימים ליוו אותנו לאורך כל החודשים שבהם גרנו שם ועשו הכל כדי שנתעשר ונתרצה. אתם יכולים לתאר לכם כמה גבוהה היתה ההתרגשות כשהוזמנתי לשתות איתם קפה. מלבד קפה וזיכרונות זכיתי לטיפול אישי והסבר על השימוש במדבקות והופתעתי לגלות כמה זה קל, כמה זה יעיל ומהיר ובעיקר כמה אפשרויות של צבעים יש, גן עדן!
אתן מוזמנות להציץ בדף שלהם ולהתרשם בעצמכן אני חושבת שהמחיר בהחלט סביר ומי שסקרנית מטבעה ואוהבת נייל ארט ובכלל ציפורניים צבועות, זה לגמרי משהו לנסות במיוחד עכשיו כשיש 25% הנחה על הקולקציה החדשה. אני נשביתי בקסמי המוצר הזה ( בקסמיהם של היבואנים כבר נשביתי לפני 4 שנים). בתמונה אני מדגמנת אצבעות מורדות מדגם: Rock out!

בפתיחת התערוכה של אריק מירנדה (בגלריה חזי כהן) היכרתי את תמר ברניצקי, מעצבת טקסטיל נפלאה.בימים אלו היא משיקה קולקציית צעיפים חדשה בהשראת זר כלה שנח על המדף ונרקב לאטו. תמר עקבה אחרי תהליך ההתכלות של הוורדים הלבנים מזר מאוגד בידה של כלה ועד שהצהיב ונרקב כעבור כמה שבועות. הצעיפים מורכבים מהדפסים של קולאז'ים ובהם משתלבים בהרמוניה פריטים אורגניים כמו עלים וענפים עם חומרים סינתטיים כמו דפים מספרי מתכונים עתיקים. הקולקציה תושק ביריד "שופוני" שיערך בסוף השבוע הקרוב. במהלך היריד תוכלו ליהנות מ-20% הנחה על קולקציית החורף ולהתפנק בצעיף ייחודי לערבי הסתיו שלנו.

Tamar Branizki, a talenented your textile designer is launching her new collection, inspired by a bouquet of roses that dried out. She followed the process of the rose until it was yellow and dry, for a few weeks. The scarves are made from a print of collages inspired by organic items, like branches, mixed with synthetic materials, like old recipes. The collection will be sold in the fair Shoe Funi this weekend, and you can enjoy a 20% off for the occation. 

אז בגלל שהלימודים חזרו כל כך מהר, לא הספקתי לספר איך היה לי שבוע האופנה חולון. אז האמת היא שהיה מקסים ביותר והיו הרצאות מרתקות וסופר רלוונטיות. אני עוד מנסה להשיג תמונות וסרטונים מפרויקטים שאהבתי. הראשון שהצלחתי למצוא הוא שיתוף פעולה מקסים של מעצבת התכשיטים אלינור אדלמן (NORITAMY) ואדריכל עודד אלוני כחלק מפרויקט "בגדבניין" של שבוע האופנה. הרעיון היה לקחת אלמנט מבין התכשיטים ולראות איך ניתן לשלב אותו בעיצוב פנים של מבנה בעיצובו של האדריכל. הוידאו מסביר יותר טוב ממני. מקווה שתאהבו.

Last post, I also proised to tell you all about the first day of the conference in Holon fashion week. There were some realy amazing stuff and intresting people lecturing. I realy enjoyed a special project made for the occasion: a co-operation between a jewlery designer Nuritamy and an architect Oded Aloni. They took an element from the jewlery line and merged it in a building design. The video explains it better. Hope you like is as much as I do.

ולסיום, עוד וידאו אחד, אסתר רדא בהופעה באינדינגב. האיכות אולי לא משהו אבל זה אמור להיות לכן לטיזר. מלבד זה שיש לה קול מדהים והמון גרוב, היא נתנה הופעה אדירה והיא התגלתה כאייקון אופנה, תציצו עליה היא טובה. כמעט סופ"ש שמח.

And finaly, a piece of the music festival In-D-Negev I was at this last weekend. I realy enjoyed this lady's show. Her name is Esther Rada and besides a great voice and groove she got fantastic style. Have a great almost weekend. xx

Honigman winter 2013 - Guest post

you might know me from my blog - thezigzaggirl 

this week, maya and i were invited

to the w\a 2013 collection presentation

of honigman - one of israel's oldest fashion brands

(amongst a group of fellow bloggers)

pretty maya showig off her purple streak

after the israeli fashion blogosphere

was shaken in the past week

maya and i decided to do something a little differently

with these posts

in order to make things even more interesting

so...

i have to admit

i used to think honigman was an old fashioned,

and just plain old fashion brand.

but as it turns out, the brand is undergoing a makeover

and they are younger and more relevant then ever

the collection is trendy in the good way;

you won't find too many studs on any item,

but you will find items that were inspired by this season's trends,

such as the oxblood or bottle green shades,

and regardless - their items are classy enough

so that they will serve you for more than just this winter

the fabrics are softer and of a higher quality then they used to have

which is a nice change - especially considering the fact

that the brand has lowered it's prices

the men's collection was a bit smaller

(at least, the number of items presented to us, was)

but it was obvious that a lot of thought was put into it

the items are all classy

and i think it's safe to say, most of my male friends

and my fashionable brother and french stepfather

would enjoy wearing most of the items from the presentation.

a lot of emphasis was put into the smaller details

such as the hems, the lining and the materials;

softer fabrics, printed linings, and more features

that would make any girl happy to know her guy's wearing :)

after the presentation, maya and i just had

to go and check out what items arrived to the stores

and make some purchases :)

(full disclosure - we got giftcards at the presentation)

we were happy to discover about 70% of the collection

was just waiting for us to try it on

(the heavier items - such as the thicker coats, will arrive in a few weeks)

this might be a good opportunity to say

that ever since i remember

- and this visit wasn't an exception to the rule - 

the honigman sales girl are always very sweet

and very helpful

we visited the holon mall branch

and the girls were very efficient and sweet to us!

i chose a few items i thought maya would enjoy

incorporating into her wardrobe:

a very soft, pearly-gold knit and a collarless faux-leather jacket to make maya shine,

a maxi chiffon skirt that i would have picked for both maya and myself,

but ended up going home with maya and maya only,

and a printed blouse & oxblood cardigan combo, which i know maya would wear

all through the upcoming months
